Tickets now available for Apprenticeship and HE graduation ceremony

SGS College’s apprentices and higher education graduates can now book their tickets for a first-class graduation ceremony at Aerospace Bristol.

Taking place Thursday November 15 in the Concorde Hangar, graduating students along with their employers, friends and family can look forward to celebratory drinks, canapés and an awards ceremony seated under the show-stopping centre-piece, Concorde Alpha Foxtrot. Each student will receive a certificate of their completion as well as a handful of students receiving awards for outstanding achievement.

Guests will also be able to view the museum’s exhibits and step aboard the British icon to marvel at its stunning engineering and envisage what it was like to sip champagne while travelling across the Atlantic at 1320mph on the edge of space.

Aerospace Bristol, which opened in October 2017, takes people on an immersive journey through more than a century of the city’s incredible aviation achievements and fascinating tales of human endeavour. The museum uses refurbished, restored and replica planes and engines and intriguing items to tell Bristol’s aviation story.

Speaking about the event Director of Work-based Learning at SGS College, Patrick Mcleod, said:

“We’re delighted to see so many of our students successfully finish their studies at SGS college. Aerospace Bristol will be a fantastic venue for this graduation ceremony. We’re very fortunate to have it right on our doorstep.”

SGS College’s Apprenticeship and HE Graduation Ceremony takes place at Aerospace Bristol, Thursday November 15 2018, 17:00 – 22:00. The event will be free to employers and graduating learners, who can bring along two guests for free. Three additional guests can also be invited at a cost of £15 per person. Tickets must be booked before November 2.
